General•formal clothes

My school wants to change to a formal costum, so that everybody wear the same. All my friends are angry because they want to dress however they want and they think that school should not opress people's taste and creativity. As for me- I don't think it's such a bad idea. first, it will force people to give attention to a person's character, and second, it will save me a lot of time in themorning trying to choose what to wear. and what do you think about this matter?
